Oil pulling stops bacteria in the mouth
An inexpensive way to get rid of bacteria in your mouth is oil pulling. The Ayurvedic detoxification form has its origins in India and is very simple: A small amount of high-quality oil (e.g. linseed oil) is moved back and forth in the oral cavity for 15 minutes by sipping or chewing (similar to chewing gum). The liquid oil allows deposits to be absorbed through the oral mucosa in every little space and bound in the oil. That is why it is important to spit out the oil after use. Dragees with the green leaf pigment chlorophyll are great against bad smells, e.g. after eating protein-rich foods.
