FACELIFT WITHOUT SURGERY: INJECT DARK CIRCLES WITH YOUR OWN FAT
FACELIFT WITHOUT SURGERY: INJECT DARK CIRCLES WITH YOUR OWN FAT
The fillers have never been more tolerable, the doctors better and the injection techniques more precise. Beauty expert Dr. Gerhard Sattler from the Rosenpark Clinic presents the new methods.
Hyaluronic acid works against wrinkles
Hyaluronic acid is the secret star among fillers: it can provide volume, build cheek areas, moisturize the skin, make dark circles disappear and make lips fuller. Hyaluronic acid has proven itself particularly as a wrinkle agent. In the "sweet spot" procedure, small hyaluronic acid depots are injected into the points on the entire face where the muscles attach. This has a lifting effect that lasts up to twelve months (costs: from 500 euros).
Hyaluronic acid pulls up drooping eyelids
The hyaluronic acid syringe is just as effective for drooping eyelids. Usually, the doctor removes the excess skin that makes the eyes appear smaller with a scalpel in an outpatient surgery. Correction has recently become possible with a small dose of hyaluronic acid. The substance is injected into the area to the side of the brows. The result: The outer edge of the brows is pulled up. This lifting effect lasts for about a year (costs: from 250 euros per syringe). The only disadvantage: the acid can encapsulate and form small nodules. Help then comes from a syringe containing the enzyme hyaluronidase.
Autologous fat fills deep furrows and removes dark circles
Particularly suitable for deep wrinkles and dark circles under the eyes: injection with autologous fat. Advantage: It is an endogenous substance, so the body tolerates it and does not develop allergies. Unlike synthetic material, it is not broken down, so the effect lasts longer (approx. Two years).
Fat tissue is processed
In an outpatient procedure, liposuction is first used to remove fatty tissue from the thigh, hip or abdomen and prepare it in the laboratory. In a further session, the doctor injects the fat into the desired areas under local anesthesia. After four weeks, the treatment is usually repeated again (cost: 3,000 euros for liposuction and initial treatment, 300 euros for each additional injection).
CaHa brings volume to the mouth and cheek area
Deep wrinkles between the nose and mouth, "frustration furrows" around the corners of the mouth, sagging skin on the cheeks - calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHa) helps here. The substance also occurs naturally in our bones and teeth, but a synthetic version is used to build up volume.
The CaHa process
CaHa is injected into the desired location using a fine cannula. There the active ingredient stimulates the production of collagen, which promotes the formation of skin cells and ensures firmness and elasticity. The effect: the complexion improves and becomes significantly firmer, which lasts up to a year and longer (costs: from 450 euros per injection). If the doctor injects too superficially, small nodules can form. Therefore CaHa is not used around the eyes.
Botox makes crow's feet disappear
Many wrinkles are caused by muscle tension, for example the frown lines between the eyes, crow's feet or cross folds on a "thinker forehead". Botox (botulinum toxin type A) ensures that nerve transmission to the muscle is paralyzed for four to six months. Effect: With the tension small wrinkles disappear (cost per syringe: from 380 euros).
Measure well
However, experts warn: The active ingredient should not be injected more than every six months, otherwise there is a risk of a "botox mask". If the skin is only to get a little more elasticity, mesobotox is the treatment of choice: The active ingredient is not only injected once into the muscle, but several times into the skin areas above it (costs: from 380 euros per injection).
Autologous blood smoothes the facial skin with an immediate effect
Better moisturizing of the skin, visible smoothing: The so-called "vampire lifting" with autologous blood is suitable for all areas of the face. The doctor takes 0.5 to 10 milliliters of blood from the arm vein, which is processed in the laboratory. The platelet-rich plasma - experts speak of the PRP method - is then injected under the facial skin, where it stimulates cell renewal, elastin and collagen production. The skin is immediately better moisturized, which is why a first effect can be seen immediately after the treatment. For an optimal result that lasts two years, the treatment should be repeated three times (cost: from 450 euros).
